Emmerdale spoilers: Charity Dingle turns to booze after destroying her relationship with Vanessa and losing son Johnny

ROCK BOTTOM

CHARITY Dingle turns to booze after destroying her relationship with Vanessa and losing Johnny next week in Emmerdale.

Charity will put her foot in things this week on the soap when she kisses a dangerous newcomer after smashing into his car.

Charity will grow convinced that Vanessa isn’t interested in her anymore, despite their recent virtual anniversary celebrations, and head out on a rampage.

But next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Charity full of regret after cheating on Vanessa.

Despairing over her broken relationship, Charity turns to the bottle.

Viewers will see Tracy refuse to show Charity any sympathy and tell her she’s brought this upon herself.

When Charity then asks Tracy if she can take Johnny to see Vanessa, she’s devastated when Tracy reveals that Johnny is already with his mum.

Tracy then drops another bombshell which shatters Charity’s hopes of reuniting with Vanessa.

What has Tracy revealed?

And are Vanessa and Charity over for good?

The news that actress Michelle Hardwick - who plays Vanessa - was heading off on maternity leave left fans fearing she’d never return to the village after losing her battle to cancer.

Michelle hardly reassured viewers when she said she had always known what the ending for Vanessa’s cancer storyline would be.

She told Radio Times: “I won’t say which way it goes, but I was told straight away.

“As soon as [Emmerdale’s executive producer] Jane Hudson brought me up, she told me the storyline and the outcome.

“I didn’t even have time to think about it one way or another. As soon as I was told the story, I was told the outcome.

Emmerdale's Tracey left devastated when Nate hands himself into the police

“It wasn’t a case of ‘here’s the story but we don’t know yet’. So I’ve always known what happens in the storyline but my lips are sealed…”

Even if Vanessa isn’t killed off, following Charity’s brutal betrayal, will she ever return to the village?

Viewers will have to tune in to find out.
