Earlier this month, Meena pushed Leanna off a bridge and left her to die.
Following the murder, several villagers have struggled to cope.
However, fans will see Sarah Sugden suffer a medical episode next week as a result of Leanna's death.
This is what's coming up on next week's show.
Sarah Sugden collapses
Emmerdale airs concerning scenes next week, as a teenager, Sarah Sugden collapses at home after struggling for breath, reports the Mirror.
The teen is left in a state as she grows anxious following the sudden passing of 18-year-old Leanna Cavanagh.
The recent death reminds her of how short life can be, and with her great-grandmother, Faith Dingle also fearing she could be seriously ill Sarah is left feeling uneasy.
Later in the week, she panics again when she bumps into Leanna's grieving father Liam, who reflects on her death with the youngster.
He tells her how fate just decides when it's her turn to go, which causes an anxious Sarah to rush home.
When she gets there she suddenly slumps to the floor struggling to breathe, but will she be okay?
Gabby's baby agony as Jamie Tate returns
Next week, Kim Tate's beau Will Taylor accidentally lets slip to Gabby Thomas that Jamie Tate, the father of her unborn babby, is leaving the village.
Later, Jamie breaks into Home Farm to steal some of his mother’s money but Gabby interrupts him and he hides in the shadows.
About to call the police, Gabby stops when Jamie emerges with his bag of stolen cash.
A distraught and angry Gabby feels betrayed by Jamie’s plans to abandon her but then clutches her baby bump in pain.
Will arrives and urgently begins to take her to the hospital, in which time Jamie leaves Home Farm and confesses that he never wanted her to have their baby.
But will Gabby and her baby be okay?
It's the first time Jamie has been in the village for a while, after he was exposed as the person poisoning his own mother Kim.
Meena's next victim?
Emmerdale airs more manipulative scenes from Meena Jutla next week, as she begins meddling to get what she wants.
Spoilers for the ITV soap confirm the vindictive killer will possibly plot against her next victim, as she wants to get rid of Leyla Harding.
Leyla is close with Meena's boyfriend David Metcalfe, and the pair enjoyed a brief romance in the past.
Anyone remotely close to David, including family, is a problem for possessive Meena who wants her man all to herself.
What no one knows as of yet is that Meena is a killer, and she has already claimed the lives of her friend Nadine a while ago and village resident Leanna Cavanagh.
Now, it's been teased that unpredictable Meena will prove to be capable of anything in the coming weeks and months.
With it heavily hinted there are more deaths to come, with Leanna's killing just the beginning, Meena could be eyeing up her next target in Leyla.
Spoilers reveal she decides to meddle in Leyla's marriage to Leanna's grieving father Liam, after they became distant after the death.
Meena acts like a friend by trying to get them back on track, but will she succeed?
