Emmerdale airs chilling scenes next week on the ITV soap, as Al Chapman unknowingly comes face-to-face with a killer.
Pierce Harris, who murdered Graham Foster last month, arrives at Home Farm leaving Al suspicious.
Al is currently claiming to Kim Tate that he murdered Graham, while Marlon Dingle is in prison for the crime.
What neither of them know is that Pierce is the real killer, and he and Kim could be in danger given they have no idea who he is.
Those who do know Pierce have no idea he's out of prison, while Vanessa Woodfield will learn the truth in horrifying scenes.
Pierce's ex-wife Rhona, who he raped on their wedding day leading to his imprisonment, has no idea he's been released because Graham kept it from her.
He planned to keep him away from the village, only for a deadly showdown leading to Pierce killing him.
Next week, Pierce lets himself into Home Farm in search of something.
But while he remains undetected at first, he's soon caught out by a suspicious Al.
Spoiler pictures show Kim also meeting Pierce, as they continue to hide their own murder secret.
Pierce begins searching loose documents he finds in the house, only to be interrupted by Al.
