Emmerdale fans were thrilled to see Zak Dingle return to the show tonight following an absence from the show.

Zak was last seen on screen in June and he's been deeply missed by viewers.

Zak returned to the show t onight with Charity picking him up.

But as soon as they stepped through the door Debbie and Charity started fighting with Debbie demanding Charity moves back to the pub.

Zak tried to keep the peace between the warring family, telling Debbie to be nice.

Spoilers say that Zak is ready to take his role as head of the family back and that later this week he will apologise to daughter Belle for not being there for her when she suffered psychosis.
