Emmerdale fans all made the same joke about character Victoria Barton as Super Soap week continues.

On Monday's episode fans saw David Metcalfe, Manpreet Sharma, and Charles Anderson trekking across a very unstable bridge.

However, tragedy struck as the bridge collapsed beneath them and Charles and Manpreet fell into the rapids.

On tonight's episode fans of the ITV show were given more nail-biting scenes as Victoria and David clung for the lives on the collapsed bridge.

But as they struggled to get themselves up, they both dropped into the water below and were taken by the currents.

Fans were left with a shocking ending as Victoria was seen plunging down an epic waterfall to David's horror.

Her screams could be heard over the currents and the credits rolled, leaving fans on a cliffhanger.

However, many fans took to Twitter to make the same joke about Victoria and her falling over the cliff, likening it to a famous waterfall in Zambia.

Twitter user @Sancho25szn_ said: "They really said Victoria falls #emmerdale."

A second person @DavidFlewellen added: "Victoria Falls. #Emmerdale."

Third person @DeniseMorbin said: "Victoria Falls" with a laughing emoji.

Twitter user @11syoung also added: "Victoria Falls Spring To Mind!!!"

Survival week has been well thought out and produced but leaves viewers wondering how the death defying stunts are carried out.

Kevin Mathurin, who plays Charles Anderson on the soap, said: "We were so high up, about 60ft above the water.

"When the VFX are in it will look like the rope bridge is suspended between two cliffs but in reality, one side was attached to a crane.

"It didn’t look inviting at all but the way they constructed and designed it, it looked fantastic."

Rebecca Sarker, who is Emmerdale's Manpreet Sharma, told ITV : "We had a wonderful stunt team managing any concerns we had so felt totally safe and secure.

"Having said that, your heart can’t fail to miss a beat or two when you’re suspended with no safety harness on a Tarzan-like rope bridge with a 60ft drop below into a water-filled quarry."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
