Emmerdale aired explosive scenes on Wednesday night, as Belle Dingle appeared to confirm she was out to get her lover Jamie Tate.
Belle recently ditched her whole family for Jamie, despite them not being accepting of the romance due to their long-running feud with the Tate family.
What Cain didn't know until Wednesday though was that Jamie was the driver who knocked down and almost killed his wife Moira recently.
To learn Belle could stand by him even after that, he was horrified.
But just before Belle blurted out that she had actually called the police on Jamie over the crash, there were major hints Belle had help.
While no details have been confirmed, there was a mystery phone call earlier this week that aroused suspicions.
Belle was seen asking to speak to a mystery person, with fans questioning if it was Andrea, Jamie's ex, or even Moira or Cain.
But their reactions to learning Jamie was the driver soon exposed they had no prior knowledge of this.
It was Nate Robinson, Cain's son, who hinted he may have known more than he was letting on after he received a mystery message and raced off.
Soon, he made his way to Moira's farm, and made an excuse for being there before acting clueless about Jamie being the driver - while viewers know he already knew, and was bribed by Jamie to stay quiet.
But when he learned Cain was seeking out Belle and Jamie for revenge, he panicked and it's then that he hinted there was something they needed to know.

Moira claimed Jamie deserved everything coming his way, as Nate told her she "didn't understand".
Begging her to call Cain off, he suddenly gave her a look that suggested there was more to the story.
Taking to Twitter, viewers predicted this was the clue that Nate was in on things with Belle.
One fan said: "Is nate working with belle."
Another said: "Nate acting weird does that mean he’s working with Belle to take down Jamie, and Cains getting in the way."
A third added: "Belle and Nate, surely working together to bring Jamie down? PLEASEEE."
A fourth wrote: "Nate and Belle working together, have a plan to get evidence?"
