Emma Willis has said she was left completely overwhelmed by the amazing response to a picture of her son Ace.
The 44-year-old TV host recently shared a snap of her eight-year-old son looking incredibly stylish in a pink T-shirt, jeans and pink trainers, with his long blond hair hanging at his shoulders and many branded him 'iconic'.
Emma's husband Matt stood in the background as Ace pulled on his backpack, ready to head out for the day with his parents and sisters Isabelle, 11, and Trixie, four.
Emma had shared the snap on Instagram, writing: "My little style icon (Ace, not Matt) #Acedit".
The star was praised for sharing the snap, which fans said broke down gender stereotypes.
Emma was asked about the reaction during her appearance on today's Good Morning Britain.
When asked if she was surprised, she said: "Do you know what I was really overwhelmed actually because it's just my son in a pink top and for me that's kind of normality because he loves colour, he's always had long hair.
"He's a very free and open-minded boy who is like, 'Why do I have to dress in green and blue and grey if I like pink and red and purple? Why is that not okay?'
"We're raising him as an open-minded and inclusive individual."
Emma added: "There was some negativity but that's the beauty of the block button."
Mum-of-two Kate told Emma, who was on the show to talk about her Be My Guest fundraising initiative: "I've got a boy who likes pink too, so I know what it's all about."
Emma's picture of Ace left her fans delighted.
"Wow his hair is amazing," one commented.
While another posted: "Wow look at his lovely hair. !! He’s the future style icon for sure".
A third wrote: "Going to show this to my 10 year old boy who is loving life and living to his own best also! Go Ace! X"
And another replied: "This is my eldests vibe, ripped jeans, cropped tee, trainers. Not that I’m jealous".
