EastEnders’ Milly Zero is unrecognisable from Dotty Cotton in make-up free selfie

ZERO MAKE-UP

EASTENDERS' Milly Zero is unrecognisable from Dotty Cotton in a make-up free selfie.

The EastEnders actress, 21, posed for the stunning natural shot on her Instagram Story.

Milly looked into the camera with her hair falling down from her hairband.

The star held her head in her hand while wearing a black jacket.

Most striking of all was the lack of make-up - which made her look completely different from her character on the BBC soap.

Milly has made a huge impact on Albert Square after taking over the role of Dot Branning's scheming granddaughter.

She is currently engaged in a war with Ian Beale as she is the only person aware that he was responsible for Dennis Mitchell's death in the boat crash.

Milly replaced former Dotty star Molly Conlin, who appeared on the BBC soap for two years from 2008.

Onscreen grandmother June Brown announced her exit from the soap earlier this year after deciding she had had enough.

The 93-year-old soap star quit her role as chain-smoking hypochondriac Dot Cotton after playing her for 35 years in February.

June revealed she was leaving Albert Square earlier this year.

She said: “I don’t want a retainer for EastEnders, I’ve left. I’ve left for good.

“I’ve sent her off to Ireland where she’ll stay. I’ve left EastEnders. I did make up a limerick. It’s a bit dirty.

“I got a small part, a very small part. And that ended up as a big wet fart. Alas and alack, I will never go back.”

“I went back to do a good story. Alas and alack, when I got back it had gone up in smoke.

The veteran actress has been a regular since just after the BBC1 soap began in 1985, apart from a break between 1993 and 1997.
