EastEnders’ Maisie Smith shows off her Strictly moves as Kevin Clifton shares behind the scenes footage from rehearsals

EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith showed off her Strictly Come Dancing moves in behind-the-scenes footage of her rehearsals with Kevin Clifton.

The actress, 18, was one of four EastEnders stars going head-to-head on the dance floor for the Children In Need Strictly special last week.

The Tiffany Butcher actress beat out Louisa Litton, Rudolph Walker and Ricky Champ during a special group routine for Dancing in the Street.

Yet the behind-the-scenes footage shows just how hard Maisie and Kevin worked for the Pudsey edition of the Glitterball trophy.

The actress dazzled in grey leggings with a white-and-green crop top.

During the competition, judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Motsi Mabuse agreed to award Maisie the top position.

Speaking after the win, Maisie said: "I honestly had the most amazing week and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful team by my side.

"It's been amazing."

She impressed viewers so much they begged her to sign up for the main show.

One fan wrote: "@maisie_smith_ just has to do strictly next year"

Another added: "You were amazing Maisie. You should be on next year's Strictly."

A third remarked: "Maisie just has to do Strictly next year."

The star first joined the BBC One soap in 2008 when she was just seven years old.

Meanwhile, Kevin is probably enjoying the Strictly win after being knocked out this year's competition early doors.

He was partnered with presenter Anneka Rice.

Kevin won last year's Strictly crown with his now-girlfriend Stacey Dooley.
