EastEnders viewers were in for quite a surprise on Tuesday, as Stacey Fowler brought he children Hope and Lily back to Walford.
Fans couldn't believe their eyes when they realised Lily Slater had changed a lot in her year away.
But another shock came, when they saw little Hope for the first time since last July, and she too was so grown up.
Lily has been recast, with actress Lillia Turner now playing the role, which was previously played by Aine Garvey - while EastEnders never confirmed this move until the scenes were aired.
She made her debut on Tuesday night and fans were obsessed with how alike she was to her mother Stacey.
But many fans did not seem to get the memo, unaware the actress had changed.
So when Lily marched onto the square to have it out with Ruby Allen, many couldn't believe how sassy and gobby the once shy youngster had become.
Viewers had to double take with her looking completely different, taking to Twitter to share their confusion.
One fan said: "That’s not Lilly."
Another tweeted: "WTF has happened to #Lily?"
A third added: "LILY???? I beg your pardon."

Another echoed: "Like the rest of us Lily seems to have aged 10years since lockdown started."
But the surprises kept coming as baby Hope was no longer a baby, and fans couldn't believe it.
It's not clear if the actress playing her has been replaced like with Lily, but the toddler has been off TV screens for over a year so would look much older regardless.
One fan said: "Hope has grown. She's so cute!"
Another tweeted: "Aww baby Hope isn't a baby no more."
