East Kilbride Pub Music Festival raises over £3,000 for sick children's hospital

A weekend of music at the East Kilbridepub was officially inaugurated by former Rangers star Ian Durant.

His current First Team EKFC side of the Lowland League side His coach joined the jubilant crowd at Westwood Bar at his WESTFEST 22, his third event of its kind.

An astonishing £3,826 was raised and will be used to install a new sensory chamber in the Cancer and Leukemia Ward of the Royal Children's Hospital, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow.

Weekend line-up of DJs and bands, Glasgow Children's Hospital charity pop-up shop, pop-up bar, food, cotton candy, face paintings for kids and a grand raffle on Sunday with prizes from local businesses.

East Kilbride also received support from Balloons Glasgow and hotels in the city, offering one night's accommodation as a prize.
