Donald Trump HUMILIATED as niece ‘prepared to change name’ after ‘irreparable US damage'

Donald Trump exit was ‘cringe making’ says Adam Boulton

The 74-year-old left the White House last week before Joe Biden was sworn in to become the 46th US President. He refused to attend Mr Biden’s inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, making him the first President to snub a successor’s inauguration since 1869 and only the fourth President to have done so in US history.

Mr Trump also became the first US President to be impeached twice after he was charged by the House of Representatives with “inciting an insurrection” following the violent protests at Capitol Hill.

Mr Trump faces a Senate trial which will decide whether he can ever run for US President again.

Mary Trump, the former president’s niece, said her uncle has caused “incalculable” damage to America.

Mary, a clinical psychologist, has given several interviews to media outlets in the run up to the end of President Trump’s time in office.

But now she is “prepared” to change her name in order not to be associated with Mr Trump.

The 55-year-old told the Sunday Telegraph: "The damage Donald has done to this country is incalculable.

"We're just waiting to find out how much is irreparable."

She added: “I am prepared to change my name if need be.”

Mary claimed Mr Trump was “incapable of change”.

Last week, America’s death toll surpassed 400,000.

During his inauguration speech, President Biden warned that there are “as many lives in one year as America lost in World War II”.

A source told CNN: "Donald Trump slept in his own bedroom, which was previously a study or den during other administrations.”

It came amid rumours Mrs Trump will file for divorce now the couple have left the White House.

Last year, a former aide of Mr Trump, Omarosa Manigault Newman, told the Daily Mail: “Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce."
