A text message from Jordan Henderson helped ease Diogo Jota's nerves about signing Liverpool.
The Portugal international joined the Reds in September from Wolves for an initial fee of £41million, although that fee could end up rising to £45million.

Those nerves, however, were calmed after he received a heartfelt text from Reds skipper Henderson, who has gone above and beyond to make the new-boy feel welcome on Merseyside.
“When you reach a new club, having an open mind is key to be able to adapt as quickly as possible,” Jota said of his move to Liverpool in an interview with The Athletic .
“With the season underway already, it was up to me to find a way to get into the team and not the opposite. That’s what I did with the help of Jurgen [Klopp].

Virgil van Dijk's season was ended by injury in the 2-2 draw at Everton, leaving the title favourites looking far less secure at the back - especially with Alisson's injury worries too.
But there's no slowing down in what is going to be a busy campaign - with Klopp ensuring his men continue at full pace as they bid for more title glory.
The easiest way to keep up with everything going on at Anfield? It's by signing up.
