Choosing your baby's name is a tricky task.
Whilst some people pick something before the birth, others wait until they've welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world so they can settle on something they believe really suits them.
But what if, a few days, weeks or years down the line you start to dislike the name you chose?
A mum has taken to Mumsnet to ask for advice after revealing that she regrets what she called her little girl.
Whilst one option is to change her name legally by deed poll, this mum is looking to find a cute nickname that her daughter can go by instead.
In her post she admitted she was never really happy with the name she chose, but stuck with it anyway.
She explained that as time went on she felt less content with it, but now two years after her baby Clara was born she's asking fellow parents for advice.
She asked: "If I could find a nice nickname/shortening for her, I think that would help - any ideas?"
And thankfully users came to the rescue.
Whilst some people were concerned it was too late to change it, others gave some helpful suggestions.
Among them were: Lally, Lara, Loretta, Claire, Coco and Carrie.
But the ones the stood out the most to the desperate mum were Coco and Carrie, as she wrote: "Good suggestions so far, thanks. And thanks to those who said they liked Clara! I like it too, but it's not quite right for her and there are also about four Claras her age round here!
"I like Coco and Carrie a lot, but are they are bit of a stretch? What about Clarrie? Seems more obvious as an nickname for Clara, but I don't think it sounds as nice as Carrie...
"She does have a second name I like (don't want to say what it is for fear of outing myself) but I worry she's too old now to switch to her second name. A nickname or shortening seems ok, because she would keep Clara for school etc."
Hopefully she finds a name to suit Clara soon.
