David Walliams, Helena Bonham Carter and Gary Barlow teaching £80 courses on BBC e-learning services

DAVID Walliams, Helena Bonham Carter and Gary Barlow are among stars teaching courses on a new e-learning service.

BBC Maestro experts will also include chef Marco Pierre White and businessman and Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones.

The £80 courses will feature 20-40 minute lessons and downloadable notes with hints and tips in subjects from book and screen writing to cooking.

Stephen Davies, of BBC Studios, yesterday said BBC Maestro will offer “the ultimate guides for anyone who has a dream they have always wanted to perfect”.

The service will rival Masterclass, the online e-learning platform which features classes from figures including Samuel L Jackson, Martin Scorsese and Dame Helen Mirren.

Gary Barlow said: "I've been studying composition, songwriting and performance for the better part of 30 years.

"I've learnt a few things along the way; things that help the process, things that inspire the process.

"Hopefully this course will inspire you.

"Maybe you're going to write something today that is going to change the course of your life forever."

Piers Morgan brands David Walliams a 'treacherous piece of work' amid feud
