A manhunt has been launched after a teen cyclist was repeatedly punched in the face and left needing hospital treatment.
At 5.30pm on Monday, November 26, a 15-year-old was cycling on the mini roundabout connecting Chamberlain Road and Laburnum Avenue.
A man and a woman approached him, with the man going on to attack the teenager causing swelling and bruising.
The man then walked off in the direction of the Punchbowl Pub in James Reckitt Avenue, and has been described as wearing dark joggers, a fleece and carrying a can of Kestral Superstrength lager.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said: "On Monday, November 26, at 5.30pm, a 15-year-old male was on his bike at the mini roundabout on Chamberlain Road/Laburnum Avenue.
“He was approached by a male and female, with the male then attacking the lad by repeatedly punching him to his face causing swelling, bruising and hospital treatment.
“After the assault, the male then walked off in the direction of Punchbowl Pub in James Reckitt Avenue with the female.
“The male offender is described as white, aged 22 to 30 years old, short and stocky with longer hair on top but shaved on the sides.
“He was wearing dark joggers, a tracksuit fleece and was carrying a can of Kestral Superstrength lager.
“Were you in the area at that time? Did you witnedd the assault? Did you drive past around 5.30pm and have a dash cam?
“If so, please check. You may have some vital evidence."
