Two people charged with murdering their baby boy have been granted bail.

Ollie Davis was just four-weeks-old when he was found unresponsive in his cot in Leicester on October 21, 2017, Leicester Mercury reported.

Kayleigh Driver, 29, and 27-year-old Michael Davis were arrested a few days later and an investigation has been ongoing since then, Leicestershire Police said on Monday.

They have now been charged jointly with Ollie's murder, causing or allowing his death, two counts of causing him grievous bodily harm in the week before he died.

A further charge of causing or allowing him to suffer serious physical harm has also been made.

The alleged offences took place between October 9 and October 21, 2017, police said.
