High street coffee giant Costa Coffee has brought some much-needed cheer to 2020 by finally informing customers what Christmas drinks will be on sale this festive season.

And as many of us would agree, it's not quite a modern day Christmas without sampling one, two, or maybe three of them.

They wont be the only high street chain to unveil its festive range, with Starbucks and McDonald's also set to tell punters what they can soon expect.

But for now, the Costa has taken the initiative and finally revealed what it will be selling.

The coffee shop behemoth has said its 2020 range will include iconic flavours like Terry's Chocolate Orange, After Eight and Quality Street's The Purple One.

As well as this, there will be some fan favourites in the Irish Velvet Frostino, Black Forest Chocolate Frostino, and Hot Spiced Apple.

"At Costa, Christmas isn’t cancelled," the company said.

"In fact, we’ve teamed up with all your festive favourites, to bring you the most wonderful range of the year."

Costa say each limited-edition drink is "lovingly handcrafted by expert baristas" to spread some much-needed Christmas cheer as we enter the colder winter months ahead.

All three hot beverages will go on sale from Tuesday, November 3.

Here is what we know about each of the new drinks:

Quality Street's Purple One Latte

Costa's Christmas coffees

This new take will have a rich caramel chocolate sauce and roasted hazelnut syrup.

It will then be topped with a light dairy swirl and drizzled with a caramel chocolate sauce inspired by the Quality Street Purple One chocolate.

And, yes - each coffee will come with a Purple One chocolate for those who always miss out on them in the tin on Christmas Day.

After Eight Hot Chocolate

After Eight Hot Chocolate

A flavour we all recognise in an instant has been transformed into a hot chocolate for Christmas 2020.

Costa Coffee’s Signature Hot Chocolate will have a splash of cool peppermint syrup finished with a creamy topping and dusting of chocolate powder.

Every cup comes with an After Eight chocolate thin, which can officially be enjoyed before or after 8pm. It is the law, after all.

Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate

Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate

Who doesn't like a Chocolate Orange? Especially when they're on sale for a quid in your local convenience store.

After last year's Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin, the treat has this time been transformed into a hot chocolate created orange syrup, finished with a light dairy swirl and a festive glittery sprinkle.

Each drink comes with a Chocolate Orange segment.
