Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has shared a bold new look with her followers.

Mum-of-two Helen is known for her raven locks, but last night she revealed she'd undergone a hair transformation.

Helen went pink in lockdown and now she's gone blonde.

Helen shared a selfie to Instagram as she stared into the camera as she lay on the carpet.

The soap star, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV show, simply captioned the photo: "Blondie."

And her followers were quick to shower her with compliments, with the photo being liked by over 16,000 people.

Helen recently decided to stop editing her photos on Instagram, vowing to never post a retouched photo again.

She said she had insecurities but wanted to show her children, Matilda and Delilah how to feel confident in their own skin.

The former Coronation Street star shared a series of unedited pictures in her underwear and opened up about why she'd decided to make the change.

She said: I’ve decided to stop editing my pictures to be a better role model to my daughters.

"I’ve been lucky enough to carry two healthy babies and nurse them both for nearly two years.

"My skin on my stomach has changed, my boobs massively have ( no creepy comments from any creepy men here this is a post about body confidence for other women, I will just delete and block) the change in my boobs definitely has made me feel less confident in myself but I wouldn't change a thing.

"I have cellulite, I don’t have a big bum I have edited it in the past as it’s something I am self conscious of. I’d look at other women on Instagram and put myself down for not looking like that.

"Me and Matilda were dancing around here, I want to teach her to love and feel confident in her own skin and that beauty is in the inside and doing that by example."
