Gary Windass could have blood on his hands once more after catching villain Ray Crosby "in a compromising position" with sister Faye.
The dodgy builder-loan shark struck a temporary alliance with Bistro owner Ray after discovering his plan to knock down Weatherfield.
Gary had initially agreed to sell him the factory in return for a tidy profit and to keep quiet about his dodgy dealings.
But after walking in on Ray with his 18-year-old sister, it is likely the deal will be off - but could his fury turn him murderous again?
Speaking ahead of the soap's 60th anniversary week, actor Mikey North told Mirror Online and other news outlets: "Gary's involved with Ray at the minute. He's sort of his right hand man.
"He's going to discover Ray in a compromising position with his sister which will lead to him turning his back on Ray and hopefully joining forces with the street."
The street will rally against Ray after discovering his plan to knock down the majority of local businesses and homes to make way for flats during its 60th anniversary week.
"Hopefully it will resonate with the people that will be watching," Mikey continued. "And that they'll enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed putting it together."
Asked whether he liked his character, Mikey admitted: "He's a great character and I think he does have that redeeming quality to him which is hopefully why he can be forgiven for some of the things that he's done.
"I think a lot of the bad things that he does do, it's always with a good intention to start with. He's trying to protect the people that he cares about.
"He hasn't killed anybody in cold blood - just yet! I think he's a nice guy deep down."
