Coronavirus UK LIVE: 73 workers catch Covid-19 at veg farm that supplies Tesco and Aldi as deaths hit 44,819

73 WORKERS have tested positive for coronavirus at a vegetable farm in Herefordshire.

The outbreak in Mathon near Malvern is being closely monitored by PHE Midlands, with 200 workers now forced to isolate in mobile homes on site.

The mass testing was carried out after some workers showed symptoms of the killer bug.

It comes as Brits are slowly getting back to normal with more lockdown restrictions lifted tomorrow.

Nail and beauty salons will open tomorrow and gyms will follow on July 25. However, office working may NEVER return as firms and staff embrace home working - despite Boris Johnson's plea to get Brits back to their desks.

The Prime Minister has scrapped his working-from-home message, but workers and employers are in no rush to return.

Meanwhile, a Covid-19 jab could be out in the first half of next year if trials are successful.

It comes as the coronavirus death toll in the UK rose to 44,819 after 21  more deaths were recorded on July 12, 2020.
