Coronation Street fans will get an hour-long Sunday episode tonight in a rare move from ITV.

The broadcaster has been experiencing disruptions to its schedule due to the Euro 2020 tournament, with soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale impacted the most.

Earlier this month ITV asked fans of the shows not to ruin upcoming episodes with spoilers after it decided to put all weekly instalments on the Hub for easier viewing.

Script writer Sharon Marshall explained that starting from June 14, all episodes for each coming week would be made available on the ITV Hub every Monday, allowing viewers the chance to binge watch their favourite soap or choose to watch at their leisure. You can read more on what she said here.

But if you didn't binge watch this week's instalments, you'll be able to finish off your weekend with a rare Sunday episode.

ITV viewers can tune into the goings on in Weatherfield from 8pm on Sunday, June 20 on ITV. The soap usually airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so this is a bit different.
