Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent showered with gifts as she celebrates birthday in lockdown

CORRIE’S Brooke Vincent didn’t let lockdown spoil her birthday as she celebrates at home with adorable son Mexx.

The actress shared a photo of her surrounded by five massive boxes of flowers, presents and balloons as she and Mexx cosied up in matching pyjamas.

Brooke, who turned 28 on Thursday, looked stunning for the photo. She captioned the sweet snap: “ Birthdays in lockdown ain’t too bad when you have this little sidekick.”

Thanking her partner, professional footballer, Kean Bryan: “❣️The best surprises thank you for helping Kean @heartsandcartsparties @menagerie_restaurant @ameliarosefloralcouture ❣️& @kean8 you’re the best! Thank you for always making me feel so special ❣️”

Her fans and friends were quick to wish the Corrie actress a happy birthday.

Fellow Weatherfield resident, Samia Longchambon wrote: “Happy birthday gorgeous! 💖 🎂”

Alexandra Mardell who plays unlucky-in-love Emma Brooker on the cobbles also wrote: “Happy birthday lovely 💕💕”

And her on-screen sister Rosie Webster, played by Helen Flanneghan, left a string of emojis.

The star, who plays Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, looked glowing in the Instagram snap as she held her eight-month old son Mexx.

The Sun Online revealed back in March that Coronation Street bosses have given Brooke Vincent “as long as she needs” to decide whether or not she wants to return to the famous cobbles.

The new mum bowed out of the show in the summer as she prepared for the October birth of her son and her 12 month running contract for the show expired in May.

Bosses have told her she can return to the soap whenever she wants - although she’s yet to give any indication of a return date.

Sources say an improved deal will be on the table if she decides to return to her role as Sophie Webster.

One source said: “The show execs are desperate to keep her and will offer her more money when the time is right.

“There is no rush but they also don’t want to lose another big name after so many high profile departures in recent times. She has been told she can have as long as she needs away from Corrie."
