Coronation Street has confirmed fire drama for pregnant Alina Pop and partner Tyrone Dobbs next week, in new spoilers.

Alina and her unborn child will be left in grave danger, as someone deliberately sets fire to the salon flat.

While she isn't meant to be in the flat at the time of the blaze, feeling tired and having recently experienced stomach pains, she decides to have an early night and encourages Tyrone to go for drinks with his mates.

Her stepdaughter Hope is struggling with the pregnancy, and Tyrone's split with her mother Fiz - who he ditched for Alina, before learning Alina was pregnant.

Unbeknownst to her though, Hope sneaks out and lets herself into the flat to retrieve her dinosaur, believing no one his home..

Suddenly, smoke is seen creeping under sleeping Alina's bedroom door - with residents out on the street horrified to realise the flat is on fire.

As Alina sits up in her hospital bed, she reveals she and the baby are both fine but she's mortified to learn the fire may be her fault.

Hope is seen keenly trying to suggest Alina had to be to blame as she was alone, with her questions over the fire raising suspicions with grandmother Evelyn.

Investigators initially blame a candle for the blaze, but they're soon left making a worrying conclusion.

The police reveal an accelerant was used to start the fire, and that it is now being treated as arson leaving Tyrone and Alina devastated and wondering who could have done such a thing.

Alina soon notices her keys are missing and believes someone let themselves in to start the fire - unaware of Hope sneaking in.

Fiz appears shaken by the fire which confuses Tyrone and leaves Alina accusing her of being the one who started it.

But Fiz is worried her daughter Hope is to blame, and tells her they need to talk about what happened.

Tyrone soon clocks on to her suspicions and shares them too - but could Hope really have started the blaze, and will her parents tell the police?
