Cops called to ‘body’ found in River Thames near school in south London

RIVER SEARCH

POLICE were called to a scene near a school in south London after a "body" was found in the River Thames.

Surrey officers attended a tow path on Waterside Drive earlier today.

Emergency services arrived at the scene in the afternoon and will continue to remain at the scene for the foreseeable future.

Police have asked that people avoid the area for the time being while the investigation continues.
