Love Island star Connagh Howard's family are fuming that the Welsh model was axed on Friday night's episode.

And they have taken to social media to hit out at the Love Island cast for 'playing games' as they praised Connagh for being a 'gentleman.'

Sharing their irritation at the lad being dumped, they shared a tweet posted from Connagh's Twitter account - that has been under his family's control since he has been in South Africa on the ITV2 romance show - on Saturday morning.

The scathing message read: "Connagh has left the villa, a bit of a shock but I suppose going with your heart & not playing the game doesn’t keep you safe. But as ever he’s remained the gentleman & true to his heart.

Awkwardly the previous episode had seen Rebecca and Connagh keen to give romance a try.

Siannise was "p****d off", claiming he led her to believe they might have something.
