Police are concerned about the welfare of a woman last seen having an altercation with a man on a west Hull street
Humberside Poilice wants the woman to come forward to confirm "no harm has come to her".
The pair had been seen to be involved in some sort of dispute in Coltman Street at around 3.25am on Wednesday, December 18.
Police said they were "concerned for her safety" as it is believed the woman may have been assaulted.
Both parties were seen leaving the scene of the fallout in a VW Passat heading towards Anlaby Road.
Superintendent Simon Gawthorpe said: "We just want to make sure that this woman is safe and no harm has come to her.
"If this is you please give us a call so that we know you're okay.
"Likewise, if you believe you know this woman and you can help us get in touch with her, or you believe you have seen her since this incident happened, we'd really like to hear from you."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency 101 line, quoting log number 54 of December 18.
