Auchinleck Talbot, Clydebank and Banks O'Dee sprung a pair of third round shocks on a day of drama in the Scottish Cup.

Talbot stunned Championship side Hamilton Accies while Bankies and the Dee earned famous wins over League One duo Clyde and East Fife.

Junior North Superleague side Banks O'Dee came from behind to win at Spain Park via goals from Liam Newton and Mark Gilmour against the nine-man Fifers.

Strikes from Jamie Darroch and Nicky Little did for them while a second-half Graham Wilson winner sent Accies tumbling out of the competition on a memorable afternoon for the West of Scotland Premier League clubs.

Clydebank had already dispatched Elgin City following a second-round replay and were well-fancied to trouble the Bully Wee at a packed Holm Park.

Talbot have giant-killing previous having knocked out Ayr United in 2019.

All three clubs could now be handed a dream tie as Premiership sides enter at the next stage.
