Chairman Clyde focused on 'going home' with collected messages for fans

Clyde boss Gordon Thomson says the club must remain focused on returning to the eastern edge of Glasgow as they try to build for the future.

The Ligue 1 club is currently ground-sharing at Hamilton Accesses' New Douglas Park, with the North Lanarkshire Council ruling over his controversial sale to Raith Rovers that he will move to May 2023. I left Broadwood after being told I would not be renewing my lease after March. He then re-signed with striker David Goodwilly.

Though Thomson claims to have left the Cumbernauld lands "on their own terms", he worked hard with Glasgow City Council to secure their lands as soon as possible. says they are working on it.

In a statement issued to his fans, Thomson said:

"On a pitch where we could finish high in the league and win the cup. Our goal is clear: it's time to go home.

"Everything we do is a successful SPFL club on and off the pitch. We need to focus on getting back to the East End of Glasgow.

Sporting news across Lanarkshire

We want the club to make a positive difference and to be a positive partner with the East End community, simply by hosting our football ambitions from a center in which we have control. Rather, it brings resources to the surrounding area and allows it to form a hub that will be an asset to local people and organizations with similar goals.

We are confident that from the beginning of this process we have developed a strong relationship with Glasgow City Council. Two potential sites are currently being considered, and we hope to be able to speak more openly about those locations soon so that we can begin discussions with our supporters on either proposal." 41}
