Claudio Ranieri conceded Watford were up against the best player in world football in Liverpool's Mohamed Salah on Saturday.

The Egyptian laid on a superb assist for Sadio Mane before scoring his 10th goal of the season in the second half of the 5-0 hammering of the Hornets.

After threading it through to Mane for the opener with a brilliant outside-of-the-foot pass, Salah then twisted and turned his way past a handful of defenders to make it 4-0.

Roberto Firmino added a hat-trick to ensure Ranieri's first match in charge at Vicarage Road was one to forget and the Italian was forced to salute the genius of Liverpool's No.11 at full time.
