Chris Maloney has undergone a huge transformation after the death of his beloved nan and break-up with his partner of ten years.

Chris has had a difficult few months after facing his Nana Pat's death, his grandfather's death and his relationship also breaking down.

Former X Factor star Chris said he felt like he needed to shake-up his life following a depressing period in his life.

Chris said: "I just felt like I needed something different, I felt like a change, so I went to Skin Appeal and had some fillers and botox and it made me feel great. "

But not content with changing his face, Chris decided to undergo a dramatic hair-do at Bleach hair.

"I didn't know what he was doing, it was all a surprise, but it's great it's a real pick me up, I love my new grey/blonde style.

"Like they say blondes do have more fun."

Chris is currently starring in Cinderella as the Prince in Bradford and his cast-mates love his new style.

He said: "I went down to show it off yesterday and they loved it, they were all shocked, but it went down well."

Chris says keeping busy with the panto is helping distract him from his grief, but he admits Christmas next week could be a struggle.

Chris said: "I'm fine, I'm keeping busy, since it happened I've just thrown myself into work, I'm obviously devastated, but I can't think about it too much.

"Christmas day will be the worst next week, but I'm coming home to spend it with family on my day off.

"I've given myself January off and I think that'll be when I really start to grieve properly.
