Chris Hughes is showing love for ex-girlfriend Jesy Nelson 's latest show dubbed The Search.

Jesy - who parted ways with Chris back in April after 14 months of dating - has joined her Little Mix bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock to find the next big band.

And although Chris and Jesy's split was a sudden one, it seems as though there are no hard feelings from Chris as he took to Instagram to show support for the show.

Filming his TV screen that had the show up, he wrote: "Sick show this," alongside the hashtag "#LittleMixTheSearch".

Jesy and Chris began dating two months after the Little Mix star split from her ex Harry James in November 2018.

After being spotted on a number of dates, the pair soon became regular features on each other's  Instagram  pages flaunting their romance.

Chris then supported Jesy through the release of her documentary Odd One Out, which went on to win a National Television Award in January - believed to be their last public appearance together.

But just months later, the pair shocked fans by announcing they'd gone their separate ways.

Jesy has now been linked to Our Girl actor Sean Sagar.

Eagle eyed fans spotted the pair leaving flirty messages on each other's social media.

But despite her best efforts to move on and find love with someone new, Chris proved that he still supports his ex in all her endeavors.

The girls unite to find a band that will support them on their Confetti tour next year.

But despite Chris' public support for his ex, it seems as though Jesy is in a different headspace.

The singer is reportedly to be fuming about the upcoming release after producers decided to keep scenes of her in the documentary - including a candid conversation about them starting a family together prior to their breakup.

Their split during the early days of lockdown sent shockwaves through the showbiz world, but it hasn’t stopped Chris from including some of the most private parts of their relationship for his programme.
