Chris Hemsworth looks unrecognizable as beardless teen in throwback pics posted by Australian soap co-star Tammin Sursok

CHRIS Hemsworth is unrecognizable in throwback photos posted by his Home and Away co-star Tammin Sursok.

Tammin, 37, took to Instagram to share photos of the movie heartthrob from their time on the Australian soap almost 20 years ago.

Tammin gushed in the caption: "My mom sent me all these old Home and Away pics! Look how young Chris Hemsworth looks!"

In the first snap the Thor star looks fresh-faced and beardless as he is pictured cozying up to some of his Home and Away castmates while sitting together on a beige couch.

In a second photo the young actor can be seen posing for a group snap with his co-stars at a birthday bash.

The Avengers star, seemingly the youngest cast member in the photo, shows off a clean-shaven look as he sports a khaki shirt.

"My 21st birthday. Feels like yesterday!" Tammin captioned the fun party photo.

Chris starred as Kim Hyde on the long-running soap opera from 2004 to 2007.

After making his name in Hollywood the Marvel star relocated back to his native Australia in 2015 with wife Elsa Pataky, 44, and their three kids.

The family now permanently resides in Byron Bay, two hours south of Brisbane, and recently listed their $4.9million Malibu mansion.

The Rush actor purchased the oceanfront home in 2016 with his famous brothers Luke and Liam Hemsworth, as a place to stay when they were in Los Angeles.

Chris is now said to be planning to build side-by-side mansions with Liam, 31, on a 35 acre site in Byron Bay, nicknamed Hemswood Hills.

The site was purchased by the siblings in 2019 - and aerial pictures in April 2020 showed construction was well underway.

The actor shares daughter India Rose, nine, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, seven, with his wife.

The Ghostbusters star was introduced to Spanish model Elsa by talent agent William Ward in early 2010 and the couple were married that December.
