A man wearing a hi-vs jacket has been left struggling to work after a 'serious assault' outside a takeaway in Chorley.

The victim suffered a broken nose and an eye injury following an 'entirely unprovoked' in front of Chester's Chicken in Pall Mall, Chorley.

Lancashire Police said the suspected offenders are believed to be two white males aged in their late teens to early 20s.

One male had short blonde hair and the other had short dark hair.

They were in company with a white female with a black umbrella who 'appeared slightly younger in age'.

The incident happened at around 10.35pm on August 12 and enquiries have been ongoing to find the attacks.

Detectives are now appealing for the publics help to trace the individuals involved.

In a statement on Facebook today, Chorley Police said: ""We are appealing for any information regarding a serious assault which took place outside Chester's Chicken, Pall Mall, Chorley, at around 22.35hrs on Wednesday 12th August 2020.

"At this time the assault seems entirely unprovoked and unfortunately the victim has been left with a broken nose and an eye injury which has left him struggling to work since the incident.
