Ange Postecoglou will be desperate to get the stuttering Celtic league campaign back on track against Dundee United.

It's another huge day for the boss with the Hoops blowing hot and cold so far this season.

There are home comforts for the Australian after a rocky spell on the road so far this campaign.

Livingston upset the odds last week to take the points off Postecoglou 's men, and all three points is a must for the manager as they return to Premiership action.

They cruised into the semi-final of the Premier Sports Cup in midweek, but will be keen to show they ave put the memories of West Lothian behind them in the league.

For Tam Courts it's been a positive start to life at Tannadice after his surprise appointment at the club.

He masterminded a win over Rangers, and will be hoping to pull off another scalp of a Glasgow giant in the east end of the city.

After defeat to Hibs in the cup in midweek, the players will have a point to prove as they head to Celtic Park.

We'll bring you all the pre-match build-up, that all-important team news and LIVE updates come kick-off right here.

Derby Day momentum

Tam Courts' side will be bouyed by their dramatic derby win last week against Dundee at Tanadice.

And given Celtic's limited first team options, United might see today as an opportunity to continue their good form.

The hoops however are unbeaten in the league so far this season at Celtic Park and they're not stretched for goals having notched up 15 in their last three games at home.

Last season's runners up will have one eye on a key Europa League clash with Bayern Leverkusen on Thursday, which might just give the Tannadice side a fighting chance.

Celtic options few and far between

Ange Postecoglou will still be cursing his luck after the 3-0 win over Raith Rovers as Giorgos Giakoumakis has been ruled out for today's clash against Dundee United.

His skipper, Callum McGregor, Kyogo, Greg Taylor, James Forrest and Christopher Jullien are all still out too.

That could lead him to getting creative in bid to keep options in reserve, such as Tom Rogic, while also carrying the fight to Tam Courts' dogged side in Glasgow's east end from the off.

Josip Juranovic can play in multiple positions and perhaps the chance in the base of midfield to rest James McCarthy ahead of Thursday's clash with Bayer Leverkusen will be on Postecoglou's mind.

Nir Bitton and Ismaila Soro offer more traditional choices but the new signing is playing well and this would allow in-form Anthony Ralston to remain at right back. Liam Scales could also earn his first start today after a brief appearance against Raith.
