With a new season of Love Island set to air this summer, we'll soon be introduced to a whole host of new attractive singletons - many of whom will have had a few cosmetic tweaks applied to their beautiful faces.
However, while reality TV shows like the hit ITV series have previously been accused of contributing to the growing trend of young women having fillers and botox, many of the show's alumnus have turned their back on their surgery decisions.
Last year, one of the most famous former Islanders Molly-Mae Hague stunned her fans when she revealed she'd made the decision to dissolve her fillers.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, the 21-year-old explained why she had opted to reverse the treatments she'd previously had.
“Over the last few months I’ve really noticed how unnatural my lips look,” she shared.
“After years of going to different people I ended up with botched lips. I’ve made so many mistakes when it comes to […] my face and I want to tone things down.”
The social media star went on to reveal that she'd been getting injections for a fuller pout since she was just 17-years-old but getting it dissolved was the "best decision she's made in a long time'"
In addition to quitting lip injections, Molly-Mae has also ditched the fillers in her face, had the composite bonds removed from her teeth and opted for a short bob over hair extensions as she undergoes a dramatic transformation.
