Burnley 1 Everton 1: Calvert-Lewin scores 12th Toffees goal of season to cancel out early Brady strike

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN scored his 12th goal of the season to rescue a point at Burnley.

The Everton and England striker found the net on the stroke of half-time to cancel out Robbie Brady's early opener.

In just the third minute of the match at Turf Moor, the Ireland international hit a low drive which found the bottom corner of Jordan Pickford's goal.

In front of the England manager Gareth Southgate, both Euro 2020 hopefuls Pickford and Nick Pope made fine saves to keep their sides level.

Gylfi Sirgurdsson and Dwight McNeil both squandered great chances to find a winner in injury time.

The result means Everton missed out on the chance to jump back into the top four but they have just one win in seven.

For the Clarets, they remain in the relegation zone.
