TWO brothers have become dads together after their partners gave birth on the same day.
George Robinson, 30, and sibling Joe, 27, had joked about who would be a father first.
Joe’s wife Ellie, 27, gave birth to 7lb 3oz Reginald at 3.48pm.
Just two hours and 17 minutes later, George’s fiancée Hayley Bocking, 26, had 8lb 3oz Oliver by caesarean section.
The tots were delivered at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on April 18.
Joe said: “It was nice to have George there so we were able to support each other.”
George added: “Reginald wasn’t due for another week but couldn’t wait to meet his cousin!”
The brothers, from Redditch, Worcs, work together for the family’s tree surgeon business.
Older brother Tom is due to welcome his first child in September.
