Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari has landed a role on an action-packed movie starring Mel Gibson.
The 27-year-old personal trainer-turned-actor has had small appearances in series such as Black Monday, but he has turned it up a notch with his latest gig.
The muscle man is set to feature as a SWAT sergeant in Randall Emmett's upcoming thriller titled Hot Seat, which is to begin filming in Los Angeles in the near future.
His appearance in the movie was confirmed by his representative Brad Cohen who told E! News : "He is playing an action-oriented SWAT sergeant."
Just last month, Sam seemingly gave away the secret that he'll be involved in the production as he shared a video to social media of him training and captioned the post: "Getting ready for action."
Deadline reports that the movie will also feature Mel Gibson and Kevin Dillon, while IMDB also lists Chad Michael Murray in the star-studded cast. A rep for the director of the film, James Cullen Bressack, also confirmed the cast to the outlet.
The film is set to follow an ex-hacker who attempts to rob banks after a threat to his life is made.
Deadline says: "Gibson plays the man who must try to penetrate the booby-trapped building to get a man (Dillon) off the hot seat."
The inclusion in the production follows big strides in Sam's personal life after he proposed to pop sensation Britney Spears.
The 39-year-old broke the news to her adoring fans in September as she took to Instagram and said: "I can’t f****** believe it," with a host of ring emojis."
She looked shocked on the shared clip and sweetly gives Sam a kiss when he says: "Look at that, do you like it."
She quickly exclaims: "OMG, yes!"
Sam also shared an image on his own Instagram account at the time, showing the pair kissing while the singer held her engagement ring finger up to the camera. He uploaded the post shortly after teasing fans he had the "biggest news".

The pair have been dating since 2016 and were first romantically linked after they met on the set of the singer's Slumber Party music video.

Britney had been under the conservatorship for 13 years.
