Pop star legend Britney Spears' dad Jamie has won an injunction against Absolute Britney blogger Anthony Elia.
The injunction will stop the #FreeBritney activist from negatively portraying Britney's conservatorship, according to TMZ.
Britney, who is still under conservatorship meaning her personal and financial decisions are in the hands of another person, was not involved in the case against the blogger.
Jamie's lawyer told the court that Elia's claims were defamatory, claims the website.
Anthony's blog reportedly sparked several death threats against those involved in the conservatorship.
The #FreeBritney movement started in April this year after the singer was admitted to a wellness facility for treatment.
Speculation circulated around the circumstances of her stay, with many reports claiming the star was being held against her will.
Rumours claimed Britney's father initiated the treatment trip in order for him to maintain his role as conservator for Britney's affairs and estate.
#FreeBritney activist Elia went on to make shocking claims about the hitmaker's 67-year-old dad including one that suggested Jamie was manipulating Britney's social media accounts to make it appear that she needed help.
Elia went so far as to call the treatment of Britney "a human rights violation."
The judge agreed with Jamie and ordered Elia to immediately stop his claims.
Jamie, 67, has managed the Toxic singer’s financial affairs and wellbeing since 2008 when she received a psychiatric evaluation.
Britney – whose UK No1s include Toxic and Baby One More Time – shaved her head and attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella as her woes piled up 12 years ago.
She later lost custody of her sons Sean, 13, and Jaden, 12, to former husband Kevin Federline.
Britney's life hit headlines in April this year after it was reported she was being treated at a mental health facility amid claims she was suffering with "severe emotional distress."
However after she was admitted, #FreeBritney started trending on social media as a result of allegations that the singer was held against her will.
It was then thought that Britney told a judge that her father Jamie entered her into the facility illegally after she stopped taking her prescribed medication.
Jamie has been her sole conservator for more than 11 years and is widely credited with saving her life during the height of her mental struggles.
Recent reports have claimed the singer now has her 'care manager', Jodi Montgomery, as her conservator following a hearing in LA County Court
A temporary order was put in place removing Jamie and approving Jodi Montgomery, who has been working as Britney's 'care manager' up until this point.
The Blast reported that Jamie had filed documents, requesting that he could step down from the conservator, for "medical reasons."
He had also requested that Jodi be the one that took over from him but only as a temporary measure.
There has been controversy surrounding Jaime in recent months after Kevin Federline filed a police report and got a restraining order that kept Jamie away from his grandchildren.
