Jack Whitehall hosted the BRIT Awards tonight with the award ceremony airing live on ITV.
It marked the comeback of live events as an audience of 4,000 attended as part of the Government's live events pilot scheme, 2,500 of which were key workers. You can read more on this here.
There were plenty of memorable moments, with a surprise opening from Line of Duty actors Vicky McLure and Martin Compston and viral sensation Jackie Weaver, who was the breakout star of what should have been an uneventful meeting of Handforth Parish Council. You can watch the opening in the video above.
But not before Coldplay kicked things off with an incredible pre-recorded performance on the River Thames and Dua Lipa called on Boris Johnson to give NHS workers a pay rise.
Later in the show, Little Mix made history after becoming the first female band to win best British Group.
The trio paid tribute to former bandmate Jesy Nelson in an emotional speech which saw Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards discuss their pregnancies. You can read all about it here.
In the jam-packed award ceremony there was also an appearance from Michelle Obama, who announced the International Male winner through video link, and an incredible performance from Elton John and Years and Years' Olly Alexander.
Taylor Swift also made an appearance and thanked NHS staff and key workers for their help throughout the pandemic as she picked up the Global Icon award.
The event ended with an emotional song from Rag'n'Bone Man, P!nk and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS choir, Anywhere Away From Here.
