A teenager has been stabbed and covered in a "noxious substance" outside a McDonald's in Kent, according to reports.
The victim, 19, is understood to have been set upon outside the fast food chain's branch in Gravesend, Kent, at around 11pm last night.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to a London hospital, the Sun reports.
His condition is described as serious but stable.
An 18-year-old man from Dartford has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The news comes amid a surge in violent knife crime in the capital, with a 29-year-old man becoming the seventh knife murder victim in London in a week.
Bloodshed in the capital shows no sign of ending anytime soon after the murder death toll surpassed last year's 132 killings.
The latest death brought the number of homicide investigations in the city to 140 this year.
