Three teenage boys have admitted threatening a lesbian couple on a bus after they refused to perform a sex act for their amusement.
Melania Geymonat, 28, and her girlfriend Christine Hannigan, were on the upper deck of a double-decker night bus in Camden, north London, when they were assaulted by a group of youths in the early hours of May 30.
The teenagers, aged 15, 16 and 17, appeared in court on Thursday after previously denying harassment charges.
At an earlier hearing, Highbury Corner Youth Court was told the boys cornered the women, hit them with coins and subjected them to sexual gestures after they refused their demands to kiss.
The defendants, who can’t be named because of their ages, admitted the public order offences ahead of a two day trial that was set to start today.
Two of the teens also pleaded guilty to stealing items belonging to the couple including a bank card and a phone.

Prosecutor Saira Khan told the court the teenagers each played different roles during the nine-minute incident, which left one of the victims with a broken nose.
She said: ‘There is targeted behaviour towards both complainants and that does relate to their sexual orientation.’
Pictures taken after the women were attacked showed the pair looking distressed with blood covering their clothes and faces.
The incident made headlines all over the world when pictures of the blooded women went viral.
The couple were taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries after the incident.
Charges were dropped on Thursday against another 17-year-old.
Those who pleaded guilty are due to be sentenced later by District Judge Susan Williams.
