POLICE searching for a missing woman who vanished from her Norfolk home have today discovered a body in the River Wensum.
Clare Kerrison, 48, was last seen in Old Costessey, west of Norwich, about 11pm on Tuesday.
The search was launched on Wednesday morning and involved police and lowland rescue, with the body being found in the river between Costessey and Hellesdon shortly before 1pm.
Police believe it to be the body of Mrs Kerrison although it has not been formally confirmed.
Her family have been informed.
