Big Brother host Rylan Clarke-Neal poses with Davina McCall in first look at their special show

RYLAN Clark-Neal has joined forces with fellow Big Brother veteran Davina McCall for an all-new highlights show.

To celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary, it is making a comeback, but sadly not quite as a full series.

Davina, 52, shared a first look at the pair on screen as they film the show in their own homes and Rylan, 33, reaches out to her as their hands form a heart.

She says: "Look what just happened! Had the best day filming for  @E4Tweets @Channel4. Love working with you so much @Rylan... so so much"

And excited Rylan gushes: "So 12 year old me just had the time of his life.

"Thank you @ThisisDavina#BBUK forever x coming soon to @[email protected] ".

The Sun revealed Channel 4 commissioned Big Brother’s Best Shows Ever Show, highlighting its finest moments, last month.

From Makosi and Anthony’s wet-and-wild hot-tub party in Big Brother’s sixth series to Vanessa Feltz’s meltdown in the first celebrity version, the new show, which airs on E4 this summer, will look back at the most scandalous and sexy moments from the past 20 years.

Davina fronted the series from the beginning in 2000 and when it moved to Channel 5 in 2010.

Rylan was the host of spin-off Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

The pair helped choose the best clips and filmed from their homes during lockdown.

In an exclusive statement, Davina said of her return to the show, which came off air in 2018: “I lived and breathed Big Brother for 11 years.

"Not one week goes by when I don’t quote Big Brother in some form.

"It made me laugh, it made me cry and it taught me to never judge a book by its cover.

“I love the show and can’t wait to share it with a whole new audience.”

Rylan added: “I’m so excited to be bringing Big Brother back to our lives.

“There will be laughs, tears and drama, but most of all we get to relive some of Big Brother’s greatest episodes.”

Fans are chomping at the bit to bring it back properly in time for its 21st birthday.

One fans raved: "You two need to bring it back ASAP"

Another begged on Twitter: "Please can we get a full series of Big Brother, on Channel 4 at its best like it used to be.

"Proper shopping tasks and some new ideas, oh and the nice girl that sounded fantastic in the diary room"

And one more said: "I really hope this leads to a full #BBUK revival on Channel 4. You’re the perfect duo to front it!"

Big Brother: Best Shows Ever Show will air on E4 later this summer.
