Kilmarnock remain the last team to beat Celtic in a cup final after Rangers failed to put them to the sword this afternoon.

A Dieter Van Tornhout header gave the Rugby Park side a 1-0 win back in 2012 in the League Cup final.

But Celtic have had an unblemished record in finals since.

The Hoops ran out 1-0 winners today despite a dominant performance from Rangers.

Celtic registered just one shot on target in the game, but it proved to be decisive as Jullien's strike at the back post flew in the bottom corner in the second-half.

Rangers could have quickly equalised as they were awarded a penalty and Celtic were reduced to 10 men.

But Alfredo Morelos missed the penalty as it was well saved by an inspired Fraser Forster.
