One of Ayrshire's oldest ice cream companies is handing out free cones to the community today (Friday).
Mancini's ice cream want to say thank you to the community of Prestwick, and will be handing out the iced goods between 3-5pm.
It's set to be a scorcher with highs of 19°C on the seafront at that time.
And generous boss Filippo wants everyone to have one last summer treat before the autumn chill sets in.
King Cone said: "We would like to invite you join between 3.00pm to 5.00pm in our 'Thank You to Prestwick' where Mancini's ice cream will be giving away a free ice cream cone to the community of Prestwick for the great support during the summer season and lockdown.
"Prestwick has so many wonderful people within the town and Mancini's just want to say thank you.
"The National Ice Cream Alliance championship trophy will be on display."
Mancini's have been in trade for over 107 years and remains the only Ayrshire ice cream company to have won the national championship three times.
