Arsenal vs West Ham LIVE: Latest score, goals and updates from Premier League fixture today

Mikel Arteta will be keen to see the hosts build on their emphatic 3-0 opening-day victory over Fulham, while David Moyes will know his Hammers face a tough task in rebounding from their 2-0 defeat by Newcastle.

It feels as though something is building for the Gunners, and – by stark contract – it seems that fan unrest is beginning to brew in east London… Follow all the live updates here:

45+1 mins: Half time at the Emirates. Arsenal looked in total control but West Ham hit them on a swift counter attack scored on the stroke of half time. The Gunners will have to start again in the second half and try to get back in front. West Ham are back in this, tey’ll think that they can go on to win.

Arsenal 1 - 1 West Ham - Antonio

45 mins: GOAL! West Ham strike back on the stroke of half time. Bowen brings the ball forward on the counter attack and he slots it into the right side of the box for Fredericks. Fredericks collects and fires it into the six-yard box where Antonio slides onto it and taps the ball into the net.  West Ham are level.

40 mins: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's cross finds Hector Bellerin, who picks out fellow Dani Ceballos but he doesn't shoot. Arsenal have  had wave after wave of attacks but they haven’t had a go at goal. It’s quite frustrating.

36 mins: Arsenal are toying with West Ham’d defence, running all around the pitch with short, sharp passes. Bellerin attempts a cross but it is blocked. Willian tries to recover the ball and it goes out for a goal kick.

32 mins: David Moyes has never defeated Arsenal at their home as a manager in the Premier League. A stat that looks unlikely to change tonight.

West Ham have a throw in and Masuaku launches it into the box but Ceballos puts it out for a corner.

The corner comes in a Lacazette heads it away from the near post.

28 mins: Arsenal in full control now. They’re causing real problems with little chipped passes over the top of the defence and runs in behind.

Arsenal 1 - 0 West Ham - Lacazette

25 mins: GOAL! Saka slots the ball through the defensive line for Aubameyang. He picks up the ball, takes it to the byline and chips it into the box for Lacazette who heads it home powerfully.

24 mins: Lacazette feeds the ball into the box fo Saka who sets off on his run too early and is flagged offside.

20 mins: Masuaku whips a ball deep into the box and it bounces over Saka. Fornals gives his a gentle nudge in the back and Saka falls over getting a free kick.

16 mins: Antonio tries to make something happen for West Ham. He takes a shot from the right side of the box but Leno goes low to stop then collect the ball.

Bowen goes down in the box after sprinting up on the counter. Gabriel runs into his back and Bowen hits the deck. He wants a penalty but he’s not getting one for that.
