IF you need to go to an Argos shop over the Easter break for essential items, it's worth checking the opening times before you leave the house.
All standalone Argos shops are now temporarily closed and those within Sainsbury's stores have reduced opening hours over the long weekend.

Easter is looking a little different this year as thanks to the coronavirus families and friends will be celebrating it apart because they aren't allowed to meet up.
Some shops remain open for essential items and food and Argos is one of those.
Other shops included in the list allowed to remain open are banks, pharmacies, post offices, off licences, and hardware shops.
Here we explain the hours Argos will be open over the long weekend
How can I find out when my local Argos is open?
All of the 700 standalone Argos shops have been temporarily shut, so you can only visit one this weekend if it's inside a Sainsbury's store.
Therefore you need to check opening and closing times for the Sainsbury's shop, which can vary from shop to shop.
If you check online, you can find your nearest store on the Argos website. There are 300 Sainsbury's shops with Argos concessions inside them.
Between 7.30am and 8am from Monday to Sunday, the shop is only open for NHS workers who have ID while every Monday, Wednesday and Friday stores will dedicate 8am to 9am to elderly and disabled customers and carers.
The store finder will also provide further information about the store facilities and stock.
We recommend checking your local branch details beforehand.
What about online delivery?
Online delivery from Argos will remain the same over the Easter holiday.
You can also still order products on the website for home delivery or for click and collect in store.
The company has urged people to choose home delivery if ordering online and to only collect from a store if they were to be visiting anyway to buy food or other essentials.
Will the shops be open over Easter?
Although Argos concessions will be open over Easter, because of the holiday and because of the pandemic hours have changed.
You will need to check your own store to see when it is open but in general the following applies:
For Easter Sunday, it is generally only superstores which are closed so if you have a small Sainsbury's near you it may be open, but always check before you leave the house.
When are the Easter holidays this year?
The Easter holidays are still going ahead this year, even though for many this will be a very different experience.
Good Friday is on April 10, Easter Sunday is April 12th, and Easter Monday is April 13th.
Many shops have different opening times therefore it's worth checking this out before you leave the house.
It's also worth remembering only essential trips out of the house for medical supplies, food, and exercise are currently allowed because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Easter falls earlier than usual this year, last year is was the weekend of April 21.
It also comes in the middle of most childrens' school holidays, even though schools across the UK have now been shut for a few weeks since March 20 because of the pandemic.
Most schools broke up for the Easter break on Monday, April 2 and will start again on Monday, April 16.
Holiday dates vary across the country so you should check your school, local council's website, or the Government's postcode checker.
