Alex Reid ’s fiancée has started her fourth round of gruelling IVF treatment after suffering five devastating miscarriages,
Alex and his partner Nikki Manashe have been engaged since 2014 and have been trying for a baby for years.
The couple have been shattered after suffered one ectopic pregnancy and three miscarriages , including twins, and have never been able to get past the 12-week mark.
Their most recent loss was just five months ago in September.
But the former cage fighter, 44, has revealed they are not ready to give up on their dream of a “rainbow baby” yet.
In a defiant move, Alex, who is one of Katie Price ’s ex-husbands, told how they are working, once again, at becoming a family.
Alex met Nikki at a gym in 2013. The couple hit it off instantly and their whirlwind romance quickly got serious when IVF blogger Nikki fell pregnant.
But the 34-year-old’s pregnancy was ectopic, and almost burst one of her Fallopian tubes.
The trauma has since made it incredibly difficult for Nikki to conceive naturally.
Alex has thrown himself whole-heartedly into working together with his fiancée to improve their fertility . The 44-year-old has given up alcohol, caffeine and hot baths in the hopes of giving his sperm the best chance at health.
Speaking to Fabulous, the pair explained how they have begun their fifth round of IVF this month, this time at The Harley Street Fertility Clinic, just five months after their most recent loss.
Nikki said: "We usually take a year out so we can recover from our loss, but I'm not getting any younger and we are desperate to welcome baby Reid."
Poor Nikki has been subjected to horrific trolling online throughout their fertility battle.
Some have even been so evil to call her struggles “karma” for being with Alex.
Messages have included: “look she's a fat mess he's downgraded” and “thank God their baby died, who would want another one of them in the world?”
The brunette beauty said Alex has had messages from other women, offering up their wombs.
"There will also be women private messaging Alex on Instagram saying 'she might not be able to carry your baby, but I can'. That happened literally the day after I miscarried,” Nikki explained to the publication.
Despite the horrendous trolling, brave Nikki said: “We won't let this get us down. We're determined to welcome baby Reid into the world."
